This week we would like to highlight how Crime Stoppers in partnership with the community and law enforcement are making a difference. In just the first quarter of this year Crime Stoppers has taken in over 200 tips. These tips led to over $78,000 in recovered guns, cash, property and drugs being taken off the streets. Crime Stoppers is a nonprofit organization that relies on donations and fundraising in order to pay out rewards for information to help solve crimes. Currently, Crime Stoppers is having a Queen of Hearts drawing every Sunday night at 7pm at Weebles located at 4136 N Peoria Rd. Additionally, our annual golf outing is fast approaching at Piper Glen Golf Course. Deadline to register is June 21st.
