This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in identifying suspects in reference to a motor vehicle theft that happened on March 3rd, 2025, around 9pm at Pizza Hut, 1861 Sangamon in Springfield.  Surveillance video shows 2 suspects, a white male wearing a blue coat and a black male wearing a black sweat shirt.  The victim parked his vehicle while he briefly ran inside.  When he came out his vehicle was gone.  Images of the individuals can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in identifying suspects in reference to a theft that happened on February 14th, 2025, around 4 am at Noonan’s Hardware, 801 E North Grand in Springfield.  Surveillance video shows 3 suspects, 2 males and a female, wearing all black approach a fenced in area on the northeast side of the store.  Using bolt cutters the suspects proceeded to gain entry.  Once inside, the suspects stole multiple 40lb-propane tanks before leaving North from the business.  Images of the individuals can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in identifying a suspect reference to criminal damage that happened on February 19th, 2024, around 4 am at Qik –N-EZ, 430 E North Grand.  The suspect, who appears to be a male wearing a black jacket and jeans, was playing a slot machine and after he was done punched the screen prior to leaving.  The damage to the machine was approximately $1,000.00.  Images of the individual can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking to assist the Springfield Police Department to identify an individual reference a theft and unlawful use of credit cards. On February 7th,2025, officers received a report of a wallet being stolen and the credit cards being used at various businesses in Springfield.  The suspect, who appears to be a black female, was wearing a black beanie cap and a large black puffy coat, made several purchases totaling over $7,000.00.  Images of the individual can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office in investigating three burglaries from the month of January that occurred on Dirksen Parkway.  On January 14th, and again on January 16th,  an unknown male suspect forced entry to the rear door of Linda’s Gaming Parlor, 3755 North Dirksen Parkway. In both instances, the suspect caused damage to the gaming machines and removed cash boxes. On January 28th, Parkway Pub, 315 North Dirksen Parkway, was burglarized also. The suspect forced entry to a rear door of the business, and damaged the gaming machines while stealing approximately $8,000 from the machines.  The burglaries all occurred in the early morning hours.
