This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a Deceptive Practices case from Saturday, February 5^th at 6:05pm at Walgreens located at 2625 Stevenson Dr.  In this incident, two suspects entered the store and conducted a gift card reload scam with a total theft close to $6,700.00.  The suspects were a heavy set black female in a purple fleece pull over and white camo pants and a black male in a gray hooded sweatshirt with braided hair.  Photos of the suspects can be viewed on this website, Cashfortips.US.  If you can identify either of the suspects, call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 217-788-8427, submit a tip on this website or use the P3 app.  We pay cash if an arrest is made and remember, Crime Stoppers only wants your information, not your name.

This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a Fraud and Theft case.  On Saturday, February 26^th a wallet was stolen from an elderly victim at Hobby Lobby in Springfield.  The victim’s stolen credit card was then used at Kohl’s and Sam’s Club to make $5500 in purchases.  The suspects used a stolen Sam’s Club card from another state to make the purchases there.  Photos of three suspects inside Sam’s Club can be viewed on this website, Cashfortips.US.  If you can identify any of these suspects call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 217-788-8427, submit a tip on this website or use the P3 app.  If your tip results in an arrest, you could receive a cash reward up to $2500.  Remember Crime Stoppers only wants your information, not your name.
