Take A Swing Out of Crime Golf Outing

This week Crime Stoppers would like to make you aware of our next fundraiser.  On Friday, October 2nd, Crime Stoppers will be hosting a 4 person scramble, 18 hole, golf outing at Piper Glen golf course.  Registration will start at 10am with tee times starting at 11am.  Cost is $100 per golfer or $400 per team and there is a 24 team limit.  Golf carts and a boxed lunch are provided.  Title, Birdie and Hole sponsorships are also available.  For more information about the golf outing, visit our website Cashfortip.US. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a theft that took place on Tuesday, August 18th in the 3000 block of W. Cold Case Homicide

This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a shooting that took place on Monday, June 1st at 2:53am at Fresh Express, located at 1529 E. Cook St. During this incident, a male victim was standing on the east side of the business when an unknown suspect fired several shots, striking him multiple times in the legs. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about an Armed Robbery at Kentucky Fried Chicken, 3150 S. 6th St. on Sunday, August 2nd at 10:14pm.  In this incident a black male suspect threatened employee’s with a black handgun and demanded money be placed in a black, Nike backpack the suspect brought with him.  After the Robbery the suspect fled in an unknown direction.  He was described as 6’1”/225lbs. wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black face mask, black Nike backpack, black pants and black shoes.
