This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in identifying a suspect reference criminal damage.  On May 24th, 2024, officers were dispatched to Heartland Bank located at 1925 S Macarthur in reference to a damaged ATM machine.  Video shows on 05-23-24 just before 9:30 pm a white male wearing a black short sleeved shirt and black pants at the ATM.   The suspect takes a handful of rocks and throws it at the ATM.  He then removes a handgun from his waist, points it at the ATM as if he was going to shoot it but then uses the barrel and butt of the gun to hit the screen of the ATM several times causing thousands of dollars in damage.  Images of the suspect can be found on this website, cashfortips.us.
