In 2017 Crime Stoppers increased the long standing maximum reward of $1000 to $2500 for tips leading to  arrests in most criminal cases in Sangamon & Menard Counties. The maximum reward for homicides, however, is now $5000!  These increased maximums are designed to further incentivise individuals to come forward with information in serious criminal matters.
