This week Crime Stoppers is seeking to assist the Springfield Police Department to identify a suspicious individual(s) who were attempting to break into houses during the week of October 22nd in the 2300 block of Ramsey, in Springfield.  A male suspect or possibly two different males were seen on different occasions trying to enter a residence. On one occasion there was a male wearing a white sweat shirt and black pants and during another attempt there was a male wearing a red long-sleeved shirt or possibly sweatshirt and shorts.  Photos of the individual(s) can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a shooting at 2181 South 17th on May 17th around 1245a.m. In this case a large SUV described as either a gold or silver Chevy Tahoe or Suburban pulled up in front of the home and shots were fired from the passenger side towards the house striking it. There were no injuries in this incident. This week Crime Stoppers needs information about a shooting and criminal damage at 1300 North Grand West, which occurred on May 4th around 7:15pm. In this case a black Dodge Durango is involved which was last seen heading west bound on North Grand. There were no injuries. The victims state they were in the residence when they heard loud booms then their window broke. One is described as a tall thin black male in a red shirt, the other had on a camouflage top with gold lettering. There were no injuries. The victim states he was in the alley when he heard the bullets fly by. One male is wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans, and mask. The other male is in all dark clothes. One uses a rock to break out the window and both enter taking phones and apple watches. They both flee in the black vehicle. This week Crime Stoppers needs information about an armed robbery at Quik-N-EZ/1995 West Monroe which occurred on April 1st, around 2a.m. Two suspects in dark hooded jackets with the hoods up and face masks entered the store and demanded money. One was a white male about 5’10 average build the other was a black male about 6’2 who also displayed a handgun. Both suspects left S/B from the store. Bring valuables inside or place them in the trunk. Close garage doors and lock all doors to the house especially house to garage entry ways. This week Crime Stoppers needs information about the robbery of a person at 1709 Seven Pines on Feb 20th around 230pm. In this case the victim was selling a white X-box. After the sale the victim was battered by 2 black males both about 5’6” one in a black Adidas Jump suit and the other wearing a red/blue/white Tommy Hilfiger jacket with writing on the back . The X-box, money and a black phone were stolen and the suspects fled on foot.
