On January 25th after 2 a.m. 23-year-old Sterling Raye-Washington was shot and killed, and a female was wounded by at least two intruders in his home. Detectives from the Springfield Police Department are examining evidence and are actively pursuing leads and persons of interest in the investigation. Crime Stoppers wants to remind you that we’ll pay up to five thousand dollars to anybody who comes forward with information that helps police conclude their investigation and make arrests in this case. There are multiple suspects, and even if only one of them is identified from your tip, the $5000 reward is in play.
Remember, all tips to Crime Stoppers are 100% anonymous; we never get the identity of those calling in and we guarantee that tipsters are paid in cash if the information is used to make an arrest. Make your anonymous call with information to the Crime Stopper tipline at 788-8427 any time or leave an anonymous tip on the Crime Stopper website Cashfortips.us. This is a case in which new information could be the vital link leading to an arrest.
