This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in reference to a burglary and criminal damage report. On November 13^th and 17^th ,in the early morning hours, police responded to White Oaks Mall, 2501 Wabash , in reference to several thousand dollars’ worth of damage being done to the inside of the building. Once inside, the suspects, who appear to be teenagers, damaged windows, fixtures, water pipes, and discharged fire extinguishers throughout the building.   This week Crime Stoppers is seeking tips about an armed robbery of a person at 2652 S 10th on Feb 7th around 1a.m. In this case a B/M about 6’2, 150-170 lbs, in his 20s, wearing a black hooded jacket, approached the victim in her driveway, punched the victim in the face and then took money from her pockets, while holding a silver knife. The suspect fled north from the area.
