This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a purse snatching which took place in the parking lot of Wal-Mart south on Lejune Drive in Springfield at approximately 10 pm on April 10th. In the incident, the victim was getting into her vehicle with her elderly mother when a black male subject in his late 20’s exited from the passenger side of a light colored Hyundai SUV, stole the purse, and then was driven away from the scene in the Hyundai Tucson driven by a black female. The suspects Tucson had fog lamps and it was missing a piece of trim from the bottom of the driver’s door.

Investigators will have video of the suspects soon and it will be added to the Crime Stoppers website when available.
