This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference a burglary.  On July 27^th officers were called to Mansa Mini Storage, 2171 S 9^th St. in reference to a burglary to a storage unit.  During the burglary 35 firearms were taken including AK-47’s, handguns, shotguns and approximately 10,000 rounds of ammunition. Two days later when detectives were conducting follow up in the area, a suspicious white male in his late 20’s, early 30’s, with shaggy brown hair fled on foot upon seeing police.  In the area where the subject was observed, detectives located several boxes of the stolen ammunition.  If photos become available, they will be posted on this website, cashfortips.us.
