This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about two thefts that have taken place at the railroad underpass construction site at 9^th and Laurel in Springfield.  Between 4pm on March 12^th and 8am on March 16^th a 2 inch, gas powered water pump and water meter were stolen from a construction trailer.  Between 4pm on April 16^th and 8am on April 19^th a yellow ground compactor machine, which had been chained to a tractor, was stolen.  Example photos of both items can be viewed on this website, Cashfortips.US.  If you have information about these thefts, call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 217-788-8427, submit a tip on this website or use the P3 app on any mobile device.  If an arrest is made based on your tip, you could receive a cash reward up to 2500 dollars.  Remember Crime Stoppers only wants your information, not your name.
