This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference a theft that occurred on December 12^th, 2022 around 4:56 p.m. at CVS Pharmacy located at 1879 Sangamon Ave in Springfield, IL. The victim was entering the store when a male subject wearing white shoes, dark pants, dark jacket and a multi-color stocking cap took the victim’s purse and exited the store. The victim’s purse contained an array of items including a cell phone, cash, bus tickets, a bank card and checkbook. Photos of the suspect can be viewed on this website, cashfortips.us.
