This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a shooting which took place at 1:50pm on Saturday, October 3rd in the 1200 block of west Monroe St. Witnesses report a light skinned black male with a handgun fired shots from the passenger side window of a maroon 4 door car while east bound on Monroe St. Law Enforcement believes the maroon vehicle and another vehicle were exchanging gunfire. An uninvolved vehicle traveling in the area was struck by gunfire and a juvenile female inside the vehicle was shot but suffered non life threatening injuries.
