Crime Stoppers Tip of the
Week
July 16, 2015
This week Crime Stoppers is
focusing on a problem that has been plaguing neighborhoods in the Springfield
area, particularly in the past few weeks. Local police officers have taken
numerous reports on overnight thefts from parked motor vehicles and, in some
cases, thefts of the vehicles where keys were left in them. Please remember,
lock your cars, remove all property from your parked vehicles, and never leave
keys in a vehicle.
Crime Stoppers is
attempting to identify the small groups of juvenile thieves who are responsible
for these thefts from vehicles. We’ll forward any information you have to
police for investigation, and you can earn a cash reward if your information
leads to arrests. Call us at 788-8427, submit your tip on this website,
cashfortips.us, or text your tip by
typing TIP672, then enter the information you have to help identify the
criminals, and send it all to CRIMES. Text instructions can also be found on this
web page. We don’t want your name, we
just want information which helps identify persons responsible for crime…….
contact Crime Stoppers.

This week Crime Stoppers is
focusing the Crime of the Week on the theft of a large quantity of toilet paper
from the St Martin Deporres Center at Martin Luther King and South Grand on
June 29th. We don’t like to see the charitable efforts of an organization dedicated
to helping people in need hindered by a small group of people who decide to
steal from charity.
Help Crime Stoppers identify the thieves who took advantage of the hard
work of volunteers and the generosity of others for their own small personal
gain. Give us any information you have about this crime or the names of persons involved and we’ll forward the names of suspects to police for investigation and
prosecution. If an arrest is made you will earn cash reward if it was your tip that led to the arrest.
You can call us at 788-8427, you can
submit your tip on this website, cashfortips.us, or you can text us with the
information by typing TIP672, before you enter your suspect information, and
send it all to CRIMES. More complete text instructions are on this page.
We don’t want your
name, we just want the names of persons responsible for crime……. contact Crime
Stoppers
