This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in reference to a hit and run with injuries at the intersection of 5th Street and Monroe in Springfield.  On November 26th, 2024, around 11:30 pm a red Hyundai was traveling East on Monroe Street and ran the red light hitting a black Toyota that was traveling South on 5th Street with the right of way.  The occupants of the Hyundai fled the scene after the accident by getting into another vehicle.  The driver of the black Toyota sustained serious, non-life threatening, injuries.  Photos of the suspects can be found on this website, cashfortips.us.  If you have any information regarding this incident or can identify the individuals, call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 217-788-8427, submit a tip on this website, or use the P3 app. If your tip results in an arrest you could receive a cash reward up to $2500.  Remember Crime Stoppers only wants your information, not your name.

This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in identifying a suspect reference to a burglary and theft to a construction site at the Illinois Principal’s Association located at 2940 Baker Dr. in Springfield.  On December 25th, 2024, a white male suspect wearing an orange sweatshirt with a black jacket gained entry to the construction site and removed several feet of copper pipe valued over $1,500.  Additionally, the suspect stole various power tools from the site as well. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Pleasant Plains Police Department in reference to a burglary.  In the early morning hours of November 18th, 2024, two suspects broke into Linda’s Gaming, 202 W State Rt 125 in Pleasant Plains by forcing their way through a door. Once inside the suspects caused over $5,000.00 in damage to gaming machines and other property.  The suspects then left in a min-van that had noticeable damage on the passenger side.     Photos of the vehicle can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking to assist the Springfield Police Department to identify individual(s) reference a burglary. On September 25th around 3 am officers responded to an alarm at Farm & Home, 2408 N Dirksen Parkway.  Officers observed someone had forced entry to a section of the building. It was discovered that two male subjects broke into the building and stole two zero turn lawn mowers.  One was a Cub Cadet ZT150 and the other was a Kawasaki 160 Pro both valued over $14,000.  Images of the individual can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect in reference to multiple burglaries to motor vehicles in Springfield and Sangamon County.  On August 18th deputies responded to Little Saigon (1531 Wabash Ave) in reference to vehicles being broken into.  Security cameras captured a black male with a buzz cut wearing a black vest, navy basketball shorts and white Nike Shoes breaking into vehicles.  The suspect was also seen driving a silver Chrysler 300.  This same subject and vehicle has also been seen at several other reported vehicle break-ins.  Photos of the suspect and the vehicle can be found on this website, cashfortips.us.   If you have any information regarding this incident or can identify the suspect crime call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 217-788-8427, submit a tip on this website, or use the P3 app. If your tip results in an arrest you could receive a cash reward up to $2500.  Remember Crime Stoppers only wants your information, not your name.
