This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference an attempted motor vehicle theft and criminal damage that occurred in the 900 block of S 4th St during the night time hours between March 29^th and 30th. A vehicle window had been broken and the steering column had been removed causing over $1,000 in damage. Video footage shows two different suspects. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in reference to a Theft.  On March 16^th 2024, around 6 pm officers were called to Brandy’s located at 732 North Grand Ave East in reference to a patron who had left her purse behind and when she returned, it was gone.   Video from the business shows a white female with dark colored hair take the purse.  The purse contained cash along with debit and credit cards.  One of the cards was tried at another business in town the following day.  The female suspect was there with a white male who may also be involved.   Images of the two can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in identifying a suspect reference to criminal damage that happened on February 1^st, 2024, around 9pm at Dynasty Asian 105 E South Grand.  The suspect appears to be a male wearing a gray jacket was playing the slot machine and punched the screen prior to leaving.  The damage to the machine was approximately $500.00.  Images of the individuals can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in reference to a burglary and an attempted burglary that occurred in the 2000 block of E. Brown Street sometime in late January. Video captured pictures of two suspects from one of the incidents that need identified.  The first suspect appears to be a male wearing a black leather jacket, and the second appears to also be a male wearing a brown Carhartt style jacket.  It is unclear at this time if these cases are related.  Images of the individuals can be found on this website, cashfortips.us.
