This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in reference to an aggravated battery. On June 29th around 2:30 am officers were called to the area of 5th and Cedar for a large fight. The victim told officers she was giving a ride to two individuals for ridesharing. When the she approached the intersection there were several people in the roadway not moving. After the driver honked to get them to move, several white males and a female started kicking and hitting the vehicle causing over $1,000.00 in damage. When the driver got out to confront the subjects they began punching her in the face. Two males were wearing jeans with no shirts and the female was wearing a red spaghetti strap shirt.
