This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference an incident that occurred on May 15^th, 2023 at Bank of Springfield located at 2600 Adlai Stevenson Dr. The incident resulted in felony theft, identify theft, fraud and forgery. The suspect, who appeared to be a female with dark hair and a medium build, entered the branch pretending to be a customer. The suspect then used the identity, and a possible fake ID, of an existing customer to make a withdraw of $10,000.
