This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference a burglary to motor vehicle that occurred in the 1200 block of W Monroe St in Springfield, IL on August 2nd, 2022 around 1:40 a.m. A subject that appeared to be a black male wearing a gray shirt and light colored shorts and shoes made entry into the passenger side of the victim’s vehicle. The suspect proceeded to take a backpack, 2 computers and a mobile hotspot before leaving eastbound on foot. The items were worth approximately $1,170.
