This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Fire Department Arson Investigators reference arsons that occurred at Washington Middle School and Matheny-Withrow Elementary in Springfield, IL during the early morning hours of December 8^th, 2022. Video footage shows a male and female suspect lighting two fires outside of Washington Middle School including one near the gas main. The damage was estimated at approximately $3,000. Photos of the suspects can be viewed on this website, cashfortips.us. There are no photos available from Matheny-Withrow at this time and it is unclear if the incidents are related.
