Crime Stoppers is seeking help from the community to solve an  armed robbery to a person which took place in the area of White  Oaks West a little before 7 AM on April 3rd. The victim was taking a  morning walk when he realized he was being followed by a light  skinned black male wearing camouflage pants and a grey  hooded sweatshirt.  The suspect later intentionally crossed paths  with the victim and produced a handgun demanding the victim’s  wallet and cell phone. It was discovered that the suspect had been  in a stolen Dodge Stratus prior to the robbery.  There are video surveillance photos of the incident, however police are unable to see the suspect clearly enough to identify him. Some of the images can be seen below on our website, call us with any information you may have, or call us on the Crime Stopper tipline at 788-8427.
