This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference two armed robberies that occurred on October 19th between 9 and 11:10p.m. resulting in the loss of over $1400. One robbery occurred at Walgreens at 2305 W Monroe while the other occurred at Famous Liquors at 1540 W Wabash. Famous liquors was robbed by two male suspects while Walgreens was robbed by one male suspect. In both incidents, employees were threatened with a firearm and forced to concede store money.
