This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference an aggravated battery that occurred at Pet Smart located at 3183 S Veterans Pkwy in Springfield, IL on November 1^st, 2022 around 5:48 p.m. The suspect appeared to be a female, approximately 5’6 and 150lbs wearing dark clothing and a red head covering. The suspect was upset with how an employee was holding the leash on an animal which ultimately led to a dispute that would turn physical as the suspect slapped the employee victim with an open hand.
