This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference an aggravated battery that occurred at Circle K located at 2461 W Monroe St. in Springfield, IL. The victim, a subject who was over the age of 60 and walked with a cane because of an injury, was battered by a subject described as a male in his 30s with a beard, wearing a black jacket, yellow hat, jeans and sunglasses. The suspect was possibly driving a white 4 door vehicle. Due to the victim’s age and health status, the battery is aggravated.
