Missing Person

This week, Crime Stoppers is seeking the communities’ assistance in locating Jeremy Register, who was reported missing in Springfield. The Springfield Police Department was notified by his family in October that they had not seen or heard from him since May. His sudden disappearance has raised concerns, as it’s out of character for him to go without contact.  Jeremy is 36 years old, white male, approximately 5’10’’, 180 pounds with brown hair and eyes.  In hopes that someone will recognize him, a photo of Jeremy is posted on this website, cashfortips.us If you have any information about Jeremy’s disappearance, where he might be, or the last time he was seen call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 217-788-8427, submit a tip on this website, or use the P3 app. Remember Crime Stoppers only wants your information, not your name.

Crime Stopper Crime of the Week   August 6, 2015   Officer Mike Badger Crime Stopper Coordinator for Sangamon and Menard Counties   This week Crime Stoppers is looking for information you can give us to help solve a series of thefts of ATV's and zero turn mowers in the area. Many of the thefts were in rural areas and, although the thefts have been reported in all parts of the County, there seems to be a concentration of thefts in the eastern part of Sangamon County. In many instances the ATV's were removed from garages or out buildings and were pushed or driven away from the residence. These thieves may also be responsible for residential burglaries in rural areas. Let's identify these crooks, find them, and lock them up. If you have any information which might help in the investigation, call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 788-8427. You can also submit your tip on this website or text your tip. Instructions for leaving your text tips are on this page   Remember, Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward if your information about this crime, or any crime, leads to an arrest.
